Democratic mathematicians and Ruling Party
As the vote draws near I have been pondering the math and the statements made by the “ruling party.” Now that’s an interesting name “ruling party.” It use to be reserved for those dictatorships in third world countries. It just doesn’t have a nice ring to it in the good old USA. It seems to me that “Government by the people for the people” does not really harmonize with “Ruling Party” very well.
Well back to the math. For the life of me I can’t figure out how spending $950 billion on health care “reform” can reduce the deficit. Oh yes there is that thing about RAISING TAXES and CUTTING MEDICARE by $500 billion. How could I forget about that. Of course you can lower the deficit by RAISING TAXES. Of course you can lower costs by CUTTING MEDICARE SPENDING.
Funny thing about that, the Ruling Party says we need health care reform because those dastardly insurance companies keep raising premiums and cutting or limiting benefits. Do I have this wrong or is that what the “Ruling Party” is proposing… RAISING PREMIUMS (taxes) and CUTTING BENEFITS (cutting medicare spending). I am just thinking about all of those seniors that voted for the “Ruling party” because they wanted health care reform. How’s that working for ya bout now?
Now I’m not a math wizard but let’s take that $950 billion the “Ruling party” is so pleased to say this will cost us over ten years. Then divide that by the 30 million they say are uninsured. That comes out to $12,666 per year per family of four for each year over ten years. Now it seems to me there is insurance out there right now that costs a lot less than that.
So far no one has addressed lowering health care costs. By the way those exorbitant “profits” those evil health care insurance carriers rake in amount o less than 5% of what we spend in health care in the USA per year. How about looking at what really costs and reducing the cost to deliver health care rather than taking over health care and “controlling” costs. By the way the ruling party never says the cost for health care will go down. They say they will “control” costs. Do you want me to translate the for you? It means they will set the prices for everything and set the taxes they will charge you to get the care they control! I’m not a Brain Surgeon and I can figure that out.
So this week I am nominating those mathematical wizards of the “ruling party” as Inconvenient Hypocrites.
